Specialized
Foster Care

At Greater Tomorrow Residences Inc., our Specialized Foster Care program provides safe, structured, and nurturing home environments for children, youth, and young adults who require individualized care and support. We are committed to matching each individual with a foster home that truly meets their unique emotional, developmental, and mental health needs — creating stability, belonging, and hope for a greater tomorrow.

Who We Serve:

Our Foster Care program supports individuals of all genders across a wide range of needs, including:

- Children and youth with complex emotional and behavioral challenges
- Young adults with developmental and dual diagnoses
- Individuals who have experienced multiple placement breakdowns
- Youth involved with or at risk of involvement in the justice system
- Individuals requiring 24-hour, 16-24 hour, or 8-16 hour daily support

Our Approach:

Greater Tomorrow Residences takes a person-centered approach to foster care. Every placement begins with a thorough needs assessment to ensure compatibility between the individual and the foster home. Our foster parents are not just caregivers — they are trained professionals certified in the Neurosequential Model of Therapeutics and other evidence-based strategies designed to support lasting, positive outcomes.

We believe that placement stability is the foundation of healing. Our goal is not simply to house individuals, but to help them build the skills, confidence, and connections they need to thrive in their communities. We work collaboratively with families, schools, community partners, and the Ministry of Children, Community and Social Services to ensure every child and youth in our care receives comprehensive, wraparound support.
